Do you shoot weddings?
Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: I love weddings. Seriously. Love. From the surprise proposal, to the "We're engaged!" Facebook post, to the planning sessions over a cup of coffee, to the morning-of jitters, to the tearful first look, to the tipsy uncles at the reception, to the cupcakes to top off the night...I LOVE IT ALL! 

I think of myself as more than your wedding photographer. I've fluffed trains and and pinned boutonnieres and fetched vodka sodas and cut wedding cake (seriously!). I'm there with you from the initial planning stages until people start getting jiggy with it on the dance floor, which makes my job as the photographer easy peasy because I'm totally at home with your people and your plan. 

I offer a very limited number of weddings every year, and I tend to book up about a year and a half in advance. If you're interested in booking, please contact me as soon as you're able! 

Will you travel for our session?

Heck yes, I LOVE to travel! Because of my busy schedule, I offer a limited number of traveling sessions each year. Please contact me for more information!

When do you shoot?

I shoot on weekday evenings around sunset. Depending on the time of year, that's anytime between 5-9PM. I do not shoot on weekends, as those days are reserved for weddings and family time!

I realize this can be a challenge with small children, but believe me, it's worth it! Typically, my clients plan an extra nap during the day or use a fun treat as an incentive to get kids in the best moods before the sessions. But, don't worry about it too much! I promise to make it super fun for them, and stress-free for you! 

Where do you photograph your sessions?

The short answer is, everywhere! We'll work together before your session to determine the best place for your portraits. 

If you have ideas for locations, I'd love to hear them! If you're totally stumped, that's cool too; I've got a ton of locations that I love to shoot at.

How long are your sessions? What do they cost?

My senior sessions last 2-3 hours. The average senior client invests $800-$1200 start to finish.

My family sessions are typically 1 hour long. I work extra fast to make sure we get great photos before the kiddos burn out of energy! My family sessions are $500.

My engagement sessions are typically 1 hour long and are included in wedding collections.

When is payment due for my session?

For any session, I require the retainer to book, and full payment the day before your session.

What happens after we schedule a session?

I'll get you all set up in your New Client Portal, where all your information for the session is stored. We'll sign the contract, and you'll get an invoice with details on how to pay the non-refundable retainer to reserve your date. Then, you're officially booked!

In the weeks/days before your session, we will be in touch via phone and email. I'll send you resources on how to prepare, what to wear, and overall session tips. You are more than welcome to contact me with any questions you may have; even if that means asking what colors will look good in a photo as you are shopping at Macy's! Part of your session fee is my help on styling your session, so use me as a resource!

You'll get an email 1-2 days before your session with final details on where we are meeting and when. Then...we shoot! That's the fun part, of course. We'll also set up a time 1-2 weeks after your session for your Premiere Ordering Session! At that time, we'll view your images for the first time and go through all the fabulous products you can order for your home!

How long until I see the images from my session?

Depending on the time of year (summer and fall are busy!) you'll see previews within one week. About 2 weeks after your session, you'll see your full gallery of images. Again, this varies depending on busy season.
